Have Your Say on the Draft Community Local Law
Thank you to everyone who provided valuable feedback during our first round of consultation. We listened to what you told us, and your ideas have been instrumental in shaping the draft of the updated Community Local Law.
Now, we are opening the second round of engagement and inviting you to review the draft Community Local Law and let us know if we've got it right.
What’s in the Draft?
Based on your feedback, the draft has been updated to meet today’s needs.
What's New:
We've introduced new measures for tree protection, clearer rules for open-air burning and firewood collection.
What's Staying (but Improved):
We've kept important rules for things like public conduct, signage, and waste bins, but made them clearer and more practical.
What's Removed:
We have removed clauses that are already covered by State or Federal law, such as the rules for operating drones, to reduce complexity.
