Solar Array rooftop and EV charging stationfor proposed new carpark on the old Caltex site on the south side of High Street
I was delighted to read in the Courier, that the shire had bought the stagnant former Caltex site on the south side of High Street. I think there is a great opportunity to help reduce fossil fuel power use and also add to the amenity of the the CBD with the addition of shaded parking by the use of solar panels which create energy for an EV charging station.

Support electric vehicle charging stations in Mansfield
Mansfield should be supporting the advance of EV transport by facilitating the ability to charge the cars quickly and efficiently in Mansfield. We are in a perfect position from Melbourne for a day trip, and the town would benefit from the tourism generated by these forward thinking drivers as well as being part of a green revolution to increase sustainability of our transportation choices, and increase consumer confidence for people to invest in these options.
