Would you like to have a say in the development, enhancement, and promotion of sport and recreational activities within our community? The Sport and Recreation Reference Group and Aquatic Facilities Working Group is an opportunity for community members to have input on Council's approach across our Shire.

    Background

In 2024, Council reviewed and updated its 2018-2028 Sports Facilities Strategy. The strategy details our vision, principles, strategy and actions to provide sports and recreation facilities over the ten years. Feedback during the review supported the establishment of two new community reference groups, one specifically for the aquatic facility and the other for sport and recreation in general.
