Expressions of Interest Open

Would you like to have a say in the design and development of the Mansfield Station Precinct? The MSPSG is an opportunity for community members to have input on projects within the precinct.

The group assists Council by providing advice, sharing community perspectives and making recommendations that reflect our community's needs.

Projects in the precinct include landscaping, pathways, carparks, recreational facilities and cultural initiatives such as the Heritage Museum and Taungurung Art Track.

We're inviting expressions of interest for up to 3 additional members to join the MSPSG.

If you would like to participate, please submit an expression of interest via this page by 2 June 2025. We will get in touch after that.

Any community members are welcome to participate.

What is the commitment?

The group meets quarterly during business hours for a duration of an hour and a half, and at other times by agreement between the members. Meetings will be held in the Council Chamber at the municipal offices. Members are also expected to respond to correspondence outside of set meeting times where required.

Members will be appointed for the duration of the Mansfield Station Precinct development projects (2 Years). Membership is voluntary. There is no payment of expenses in relation to attending activities or meetings of the group.
