A new small stage and amphitheatre is to be installed at Mansfield Botanic Park as part of a community-led project.
It is proposed that the new stage be dedicated to Joy Forrest in recognition of her significant contribution to the Mansfield community. The stage will provide a a new platform for local artists and performers and will support a wide range of cultural and artistic events.

Community members are invited to provide feedback on concept images and the stage's proposed location. Council is also proposing to name the stage in Joy's honour, and is seeking community feedback.
The project is being led by the community group "the Friends of Joy", and is funded by community donations and a contribution from Council.

You can view the proposed location and concept images via the link on the right hand side of this page. A hard copy can also be viewed at the municipal offices at 33 Highett Street, Mansfield.
