    The policy is currently being reviewed as part of our regular governance processes. An updated draft is now available for community feedback.

    Your input will help ensure the policy is clear, accessible and effective in serving our community's needs.

    Purpose

    With this policy, we aim to:

    • Strengthen trust and confidence in Council's ability to make informed decisions that benefit the Mansfield Shire community.
    • Consistently apply a transparent and inclusive community engagement process.
    • Meet and exceed the requirements of the Local Government Act 2020, particularly regarding engagement principles and practices.

    A copy of the draft policy is available to download on the right hand side of this page. A hard copy can be viewed at the municipal offices at 33 Highett Street, Mansfield.

    Provide written feedback

    Please submit your feedback by 26 June 2026:

    The draft policy will be further updated based on feedback, then presented for adoption at the 21 July 2026 Council Meeting.
