It will depend on the site and management requirements. Council does not have a set number but are certainly looking at avenue style which will require multiple plantings.

There are certain trees, both native and exotic, that are more suited for urban tree plantings.

Council Parks and Gardens Supervisor together with the Environment Officer will finalise species from lists created from research on climate-adaptive species suited to our Shire.

Parks and Gardens will manage the establishment of these trees. Street trees require care such as pruning, watering, uplifting etc. This will be taken into account when selecting trees.
