This is very important for all people who visit the area.

This is much needed for the region and all the recreational activities that occur nearby

Action and investment is long overdue. Governments at both state and federal level promise support for rural Australia, yet the facilities and amenities available for Mansfield’s essential emergency services do not reflect that.

Provide our first responders with the support and facilities they need to meet the demands of their work and the expectations of the community.

A modern, sustainable emergency services precinct in Mansfield is not a nice to have, it’s a must have.

The SES and associated volunteers play a vital role in many emergencies such as wilderness rescues, storm damage, supporting other emergency services and for extrication of trapped victims road accidents. Their depot is aged and not fit for purpose. The volunteers and the Mansfield community deserve a modern facility for our SES.

The ambulance station is built in the 1960s, operating out of an old house, with no training room (training is conducted on the garage floor), parking is a shambles and no drive-in/drive-out layout is bordering on unsafe. Again, an aged and unfit for purpose building. Mansfield paramedics and the community deserve a state of the art, modern facility.

This is a growing town. And a tourist town. Both of which place high demands on our emergency services. A suitable precinct with the ability to train together, yet each service having their own space, with a community resilience centre (housing Mansfield Radio) is an overdue asset. Securing the development of the Mansfield Emergency Services Precinct will support our array of emergency service personnel in the ensuing decades ahead.

A new SES precinct together with relocated ambulance facilities at the one place is a great option for Mansfield stage 1. The sooner the better, great for Mansfield and the surrounding communities.

The proposed precinct will be a extremely important facility to the community.
For the last decade the SES and AV have been underresourcesed to carry out vital assistance to the ever increasing requests for help in the Mansfield shire and neighbouring communities.

This precinct is extremely important to our rapidly growing community. The Ambulance Station is so old and inefficient to the operation of our Ambulance Service which also includes Mt Buller. It is so overdue for a complete re-build, I see other towns receiving large grants for Ambulance Stations and we are being left behind. The same goes for our SES. We have the area to develop the precinct all we need now is the grant to get the buildings started and operational.
We need this to happen immediately.

I 100% support an emergency service precinct for our town of Mansfield, our ambulance service and ses unit here are in very aged buildings and lack the proper facilities to properly operate

Having all of the emergency services in one place just makes sense. It’ll make attending multi agency jobs that much easier. A lot of our facilities are also old and no longer functional for their purpose, so having new, updated facilities will help the members as well as make responding easier. I’d love to see this go ahead.

This is such an important investment in community safety for Mansfield and the wider alpine community

Sooner rather than later!!
our district is growing and so should our services

New SES facility is a great investment.

The sooner this project is done the better. The existing facility are small and cramped. Meeting rooms are on the second floor making it hard for people with disabilities to be part of the unit. We as a community must support our volunteers with good facilities

An essential service and absolute must for our town and community. For all the hard work our emergency services staff do and remembering they mostly volunteer this is an essential sevice for the community we live in. All the amenities are so old and non function for the growth our town has.

The Mansfield Shire should address the fundamental needs of safety, health and shelter before higher-level needs such as belonging or self-image based on Maslow’s Hierarchy. The resilience centre and Emergency Services precinct is a priority for Mansfield to allow agencies to be concentrated in one area therefore improving communication, co-ordination and ultimately delivering a reduction in response call-out times.

I strongly support the Mansfield Emergency Precinct. This important project will bring together SES, Ambulance and eventually CFA on one central site, improving coordination and response times in emergencies. It will also provide a much-needed building upgrade for our hardworking SES volunteers, who deserve a safe, modern facility to support the vital work they do for our community. Investing in this precinct is an investment in the safety, resilience, and wellbeing of Mansfield and the surrounding region, now and into the future. I urge decision-makers to prioritise this essential project for the benefit of all.

This one of the most important projects to happen in Mansfield, it will bring all the kindred emergency services together into one place and enhance inter operationally.

Essential services for community and visitors. Please support this grant by allocating fully funded these facilities.
Mansfield is a beautiful town and visiting our friends and seeing the region is always a trip we will continue to do.

It must be kept no matter what

Our emergency services need a proper home - one that meets the needs of these heroic people that keep our community safe.
