Mansfield Flood Study
Do you have something to say about Mansfield’s flood risk?
Council is currently undertaking a flood study of Mansfield, which will identify the town’s flood risk and which areas will be affected under a variety of rainfall scenarios. It aims to improve on previous studies done in 2005 and 2006, which can be viewed on this page.
The current study is being conducted in collaboration with the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority, SES and CFA.
Community members are invited to participate by attending a community workshop to actively contribute to Council’s flood intelligence. Anyone unable to attend the session can contribute their feedback on this page via a survey or by nominating severely flood affected places on a map.
Your knowledge and experience will help to validate new modelling of flood affected areas and allow Council and our community to better prepare for flood events.
