Mansfield Shire Council is preparing a grant funding application to design and construct a bridge over the Graves Road culvert.
Over recent years, Council has received multiple complaints from concerned community members regarding the condition of the causeway and the repeated flooding events that render the road unusable.
This section of road regularly experiences significant flooding during rain events, making it unsafe and often impassable for residents, community members, and emergency vehicles. Due to the ongoing safety risks and access disruptions, Council has identified this project as a high priority for the community and all road users.
To support the funding application, Council is seeking feedback on how the regular flooding at the Graves Road causeway has impacted the community, including safety, access, and travel disruptions.
