Indoor Aquatic Centre

Great news to know that this vital piece of infrastructure for the residents of Mansfield and nearby surrounds is not dead in the water. Great work and congratulations to all those who have not given up on this vision.

I am a lover of lap swimming and as this is my only other activity for physical health other than walking I am desperate not to have to drive to Benalla or lose interest all together. With many aging health issues I know this facility will help myself and the manner in which I age along with many other people who would use this facility perhaps some for the fist time because of its accessibility. I feel the health benefits to the community will outweigh the recreational side. Given our winters it would be awesome to be able to swim all year round and also give schools the same benefit.

I hope the council and community members rally behind the great work done by the committee members of YAMF and make this project a reality sooner rather than later.
